A flavorful traditional Indian dish, Tandoori chicken is not only healthy but also filling. Follow Chef Jovi’s signature recipe for dinner tonight!
Tandoori Chicken Ingredients:
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 1 tbsp Garma masala
- 1 tbsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- A pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Tandoori Chicken Preparation:
- prick holes in the chicken breasts with a fork for the marinade
- Combine all ingredients except chicken in a large bowl
- Mix well
- Add chicken and marinate for 2 or 3 hours, or overnight, refrigerated
- Preheat oven 450 degrees and cook for 25 to 30 minutes
Cucumbers Salad Ingredients:
- 2 cucumbers, peeled, halved lengthwise, seeded, cut into 1/4 –inch slices
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 small clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried mint
- salt for taste or 1 tsp dried dill or 1 tsp of mint
Cucumber Salad Preparation:
- In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients
- cover and refrigerate up to 5 hours
