Texas Tribune’s #TribFest22 is almost here and has invited Samir Becic and his Health Fitness Revolution team to attend!
There will be more than 350 influential speakers this year, including former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy; Governors Gavin Newsom of California, Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas, Glenn Youngkin of Virginia; Former Governor of Ohio John Kasich, and Democratic Candidate for Governor of Texas in 2022 Beto O’Rourke.
Over three jam-packed days — Sept. 22-24 — Texas Tribune will bring together thousands of friends and neighbors in downtown Austin for more than 100 conversations about the future of our cities, our state, our country, and even our democracy.
Grateful to attend @TexasTribune‘s #TribFest22 Sept 22-24 with the @HFRevolution team. This is CEO @evanasmith‘s final festival at the helm of the publication. Thank you, Evan, for your incredible work and never-ending focus on the betterment of society.https://t.co/YNpbJeRXkJ

TribFest is for big thinkers who are personally interested in (or professionally connected to) politics, public policy, or current events. Knowing your way around politics or its players is not a requirement for enjoying the Festival. If you want to hear from, and converse with, powerful people who have influence over your life and the things you care most about, TribFest is for you.
This will be incumbent CEO Evan Smith’s last Texas Tribune Festival. Smith announced his impending departure from the Tribune in January 2022, in a simultaneously wistful and tongue-in-cheek farewell address that acknowledged his “sentimentality and nostalgia.” He will be finished with his tenure by December but will continue through 2023 as a senior advisor to his yet-unnamed replacement.
