Samir Becic educated peer-mentors for Dr. Oz’s HealthCorps at Sharpstown High School, Wednesday, June 24, where Becic presented and trained them on his ReSync Method exercise techniques and the significance of exercise.
Becic congratulated the instructors, calling them leaders in implementing health and fitness with kids. There were approximately 20 Coordinators in the room, many of whom had chosen to work with HealthCorps because they witnessed the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle. Their experiences ranged from first-hand family trials to having a desire to understand the mind-body relationship.
To help spread that message, he trained the peer-mentors – called HealthCorps Coordinators – on several different ReSync Method techniques, emphasizing body resistance.
Though Becic applauded the HealthCorps Coordinators for their inspiring work, he hoped they would challenge themselves to be better than who they think they are.
“If you’re going to teach the value of hard work and fitness, you have to follow them yourself,” he said.
The coordinators all appreciated the intrinsic value and effectiveness of the ReSync Method for both themselves and the students they teach.
