Samir Becic, Fitness Czar and 4 x #1 fitness trainer in America, was featured on a segment of Medical Monday hosted by Deborah Duncan of Great Day Houston. Deborah Duncan, a former trainee of Samir Becic, explained how Samir encouraged her to start a gym regimen by imagining herself in the gym, and she started her journey of self-improvement and became an honorable mention of the Top 10 Fittest TV personalities.
Deborah Duncan asked Samir about the different aspects of health and how exercise affects the quality of life. Samir explained how mental health is improved through exercise, exercise helps your body sleep deeper and wake up refreshed and how exercise is the best positive stress you can do for your body.
Samir gifted Deborah Duncan with a signed copy of his book ReSYNC Your Life to thank her for being a fitness ambassador. As a gift for their dedicated time and attention, he also gave a free copy of his book to each member of the audience! Deborah Duncan opened the book to the isometrics chapter to show the viewers and audience exercises to do at home and with no equipment!
The show ended with an isometric exercise called “Hold Body Tension.” Care to try it with the audience? Here’s how to do it:
- In standing position bend your knees slightly
- Fold arms in front of you parallel to the ground
- Lastly, tense every muscle in your body for 10-30 seconds
Repeat every hour to see results!
