HFR founder Samir Becic discussed the historic 2020 U.S. Election on N1 TV/ CNN Balkan. In the segment, replayed several times over the past 24 hours, Samir tells Bosnians they can relax because Biden will bring positive things to the United States, the world, including the Balkan region.
In his opinion – Biden gives new hope to Americans, as opposed to Trump’s ‘divide and rule’ policies and rhetoric. He continued by saying that he knows a lot of Republican friends who voted for Biden, who is seen as more “mainstream” and centrist behaving. In addition, he says “I have been following the health and fitness of all American politicians since 2013. My team and I are familiar with all leading politicians. Biden has such good energy, he is a positive and a good man.”
In a Facebook post, Samir continued: “People around the world are concerned about the American election. The message I share is: historically, every problem that America has overcome has made it stronger, more resilient, and better for its people. With President-Elect Biden, we are entering a new era of prosperity and a better future for all Americans. America’s strength is not from having the strongest military or largest economy, it is from having the best and most transparent democracy!”
Samir talked about what a Biden presidency means for the Balkan region: “Biden is a friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and all its people, regardless of ethnicity or religion. He is a man who is guided by understanding and reason. He will be good for Bosnians, Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks, all minorities, all citizens. He is a positive thing for the region,” Becic told N1.
