Health Fitness Revolution founder Samir Becic will be featured on Univision with reporter Miguel Bedoy (who was among the Houston Celebrities who promote healthy lifestyle) with the contestants of Miss Houston Latina 2016 and director Natalia Castillo. In the segment Samir highlights his desire to use his expertise to showcase and motivate young latinos to be healthier and fitter. The girls have been diligent in their fitness over the past few months in preparation for the upcoming pageant.
After months of hard work and healthy living, the Miss Houston Texas Latina Pageant contestants are ready for their big crowning night. The crowning is set to take place on April 16th at 5pm at Zilhka Hall in the Hobby Center of the Performing Arts, and is shaping up to be an elegant affair. Attendees are required to wear formal attire: nice suits for gentlemen and evening gowns for ladies. So head over to the Zilhka Hall if you want to see these talented and beautiful young women on the big stage!
HFR founder Samir Becic partnered with pageant director Natalia Castillo to train the contestants and promote exercise and healthy nutrition for young people. He is so proud of the hard work and tireless dedication the contestants put in to prepare for this competition.
Samir volunteered his time each weekend to spread HFR’s key message of healthy and balanced living to the young women. The transformation since early February has been phenomenal. He talked to the contestants about diet and exercise. The contestants did ReSync Method Level 1 and Level 2 training, which utilizes bodyweight to build muscle and burn fat.
Samir wants to give accolades to the pageant contestants for their hard work: “These girls set a great example for the younger generation to lead a healthy lifestyle. Their positive attitude proves that everything is possible with determination and consistency.”
He extends his praise to Natalia Castillo’s inspiring leadership, which deserves the highest praise for motivating these young women to workout and work toward their dreams.
Samir adds that he hopes to do more in the future to promote health in the city of Houston!
