Houston’s newly elected Mayor, John Whitmire, is demonstrating his commitment to philanthropic causes by showcasing support for Tri Delta Philanthropies, a local nonprofit organization. Recently, Mayor Whitmire and City Councilmember Sallie Alcorn presented the organization with an official proclamation commending their important work. Through his X (formerly Twitter) platform, the Mayor also brought attention to Tri Delta Philanthropies’ upcoming fundraiser, called the SALE, which seeks to drive critical funding for pediatric cancer research.
The SALE is an exciting three-day shopping extravaganza that brings together more than 50 beloved boutiques from across Houston. Shoppers can expect to find a wide range of merchandise at significantly reduced prices, all conveniently located in one place. This year’s SALE will be held from Thursday, January 11th, to Saturday, January 13th, at the Bayou City Event Center. The event’s proceeds will be donated to support a pediatric cancer research project at The University of Texas MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital. To purchase tickets, click here.
