Today, the United Kingdom, Commonwealth, and world mourns Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II has died at the age of 96, according to Buckingham Palace. Her death brings to a close a reign that spanned seven decades and made her the most recognized woman in the world. The Queen “died peacefully” on Thursday afternoon at Balmoral Castle, her estate in the Scottish Highlands, royal family officials announced.
Her son Charles, 73, is now king and will be known as King Charles III.

Health Fitness Revolution has profiled Queen Elizabeth for years- she made our list of the “Fittest Heads of State” 2019 and made the Honorable mentions portion of the list in 2018 and 2021. We named her among the Top 50 Fittest Royals in the world, and even profiled her wellness routine that kept her fit into her 90s.
Her Majesty was known to have a very balanced and healthy lifestyle including long walks, horseback riding, off-roading in her famous Defender, swimming, playing with her beloved Corgi dogs, and eating a balanced diet.
My deepest condolences to the @RoyalFamily and the people of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. https://t.co/pxoH79xOP9

Our founder, Samir Becic, has long admired Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and was always a proponent of her fitness. He said of her a few years ago “Considering that she is 90 years old, she is very vibrant, sharp, with excellent posture, indicative of her level of physical activity and core strength. I am amazed that even at her age, she still off-roads in my favorite vehicle, the Defender- which represents her adventurous spirit. This is why she is one of my ultimate favorite Royals today.”
