Since 1894, Labor Day has been a federal holiday that “constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.” It gives an opportunity for workers to finally have that sigh of relief they have been desperately yearning for. This particular holiday also marks the official end of “summer vacation,” so there’s no time like Labor Day to celebrate with nothing but peace and relaxation.
