Burning Calories at Home! Cleaning IS a Workout…

Most of us typically go to the gym to burn off our unwanted calories through vigorous physical exercise- but in these uncertain COVID-19 social distancing times, we are all home A LOT and could be cleaning. What if we told you that you could also burn off calories at home as well? How exactly? By doing your everyday house chores of course! Not as fun as it sounds until you think about how many calories you could be burning while reorganizing and tidying your home (hello, spring cleaning!). We made a list of common household chores and the estimated number of calories you burn doing these activities for around 30 minutes to an hour based on a 150-pound person. Some of these activities include:
