Obesity is currently a major problem in the United States. The United States obesity rates for both adults and children living with obesity are steadily on the rise. This is a major cause of concern because obesity can cause complications and create health problems for an individual. A report examining U.S. Adult obesity that was done by the Trust for America’s Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation examined the obesity rates by states. The report shows a slowing of obesity rate but the rate of obesity in U.S. adults is still on the rise:
